Responsibilities | |
Job Requisition #12450. This will be a part-time, work from home position. Work less than 20 hours a week between the hours of 10:00 am 4:00 pm. We are looking at the start date of October 10, 2011. Support sales of fixed and variable annuity and/or life insurance products by delivering exceptional customer service at all times in alignment with the strategic goal to be a market leader in customer service delivery. May be responsible for one or more of the below depending upon which department you are in. Answer incoming annuity calls Complete routine tasks involving annuity applications Process incoming, outgoing, and return mail and document scanning for automated workflow and image storage. Process incoming internal and external telephone requests for information and service. Process changes to existing policies as well as process duplicate statements. Process partial and full distributions, systematic payouts, and death claims. Process a variety of routine policyholder service requests and administrative functions. Tax reporting as required. Compliance with both IMSA Code of Ethics and SEC regulations that require variable financial transactions be processed the same day received. _________________________________________________________________________ | |
Qualifications | |
1-2 years customer service and/or office experience. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic understanding of annuity and life insurance concepts. Able to use computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Skills Advantage Work Ready Certificate, Optional. Normal office environment. Fast-paced environment. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. May be required to work in standing and/or sitting positions. Outgoing personality with ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences. Organized and flexible to adjust to changes in schedule, while meeting time-sensitive service level standards and deadlines. Excellent number recognition skills and proficient data entry skills. Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule | |
The starting salary range for this position is between $10.75-$12.00 per hour. These positions may have an incentive opportunity. This position is eligible for a $250 employee referral bonus. _________________________________________________________________________ | |
